External Board Members:
Dr. Walter L. Robb is the managing partner of Counter Point Ventures, a private investment fund based in Schenectady, NY, and President of Vantage Management, Inc., which provides business and technical consulting to growing companies.
Dr. Robb retired from General Electric in 1992 as Senior Vice President of Corporate Research and Development, and member of its Corporate Executive Council. During his 41-year career with GE, he headed GE Medical Systems from 1973 to 1986, guiding that division to worldwide leadership in CT and MR imaging. In 1993, he received the National Medal of Technology – the nation’s highest technology honor – from President Clinton for “his leadership in the development of medical diagnostic systems that have improved people’s health and maintained U.S. global competitiveness.”
Dr. Robb holds a Ph.D. in chemical engineering from the University of Illinois and a B.S. from Penn State University. He served on the Board of Directors of Cree, Inc. from 1993 through 2001, and currently serves on the boards of several companies, both public and private, including Celgene, Inc., MTI Corp., and Evident Technologies, Inc.
Mr. Gary R. DiLella is Vice President of the Provco Group, a Villanova, PA based company that organizes and facilitates funding for a variety of complex business activities. Mr. DiLella focuses on private equity investments, marketable securities and tax planning and compliance for Provco and its customers. From 1981 to 1995 he worked in the finance department of LFC Financial Corp, a project financing company.
In 1996 he assumed the position of Vice President, Director of Taxes for LFC’s parent, privately-held Superior Group, Inc., a diversified holding company with business interests throughout the U.S. and Europe.
Mr. DiLella received a B.S. degree in accounting from The Pennsylvania State University and a M.S. degree in taxation from Villanova University.
Mr. David Bernardi is managing partner of two Montreal-based investment funds: ID Capital and Propulsion Ventures. He has more than twenty years of experience in telecommunications and software engineering, more than half of which he has gained in an operational environment.
Over the course of his career, Mr. Bernardi has managed large software development teams in a multi-site, multi-schedule environment. He was one of the first North Americans to establish a development team in India (1994). Through his involvement in hardware development, he provided technical governance for the only non-military data satellite constellation in the world.
As a consultant to Canadian and American telephone companies, he analyzed and planned the reengineering of his clients’ processes to improve their competitiveness and efficiency. Mr. Bernardi has also negotiated complex, billion-dollar joint venture and partnership agreements in an international environment.
Mr. Bernardi holds Masters and Bachelors (Honours) degrees in Electrical Engineering from McGill University, and a Diploma in Arts (History) from the University of Montréal. Mr. Bernardi sits or has served on the boards or advisory committees of Rololight, Idilia, Audiokinetics and Colubris Networks.
Internal Board Members
Mr. Bernard P. O’Meara is President & CEO of Fox Group, and a founder and Director. He has manufacturing supervisory experience in the electromechanical cable industry, followed by more than twenty years in the field of international technology transfer, specializing in transfer of technology related to semiconductor materials, devices, and processes invented and developed in the former Soviet Union.
Mr. O’Meara has a B.S. in Engineering and Applied Science from Yale University. He has served on the boards of two non-profit organizations and one private company.
